Details & Care

Can I wear this in water?

Yes. Gentle, occasional exposure is fine. To preserve the longevity and richness of the gold plating, we recommend removing it before swimming, exercise, showering or applying lotions, exfoliants, hand sanitisers and fake tan.

Will it tarnish?

Gold plating does not tarnish or turn green, but it can fade over time with heavy wear. Our thicker plating and sterling silver base help your piece stay beautiful for longer. Our in-house jeweller also offers cleaning, re‑plating and maintenance services for all Esq Jewellery pieces (additional costs apply).

When will my order ship?

Your piece ships immediately once it’s complete, which can take between 5-7 business days. You’ll receive tracking as soon as it leaves our Sydney studio.

Returns & Warranty

All Esq Jewellery handmade pieces include a 1‑year warranty covering manufacturing faults. If your jewellery ever needs attention beyond normal wear, we work closely with our trusted jeweller who offers professional cleaning, re‑plating and maintenance services to keep your pieces looking their best.

Because this necklace is handmade to order and personalised, it is final sale. If something isn’t right when it arrives, we’ll always make it right - just reach out and our team will take care of you.
